The Entire world along with Japan must understand...
That nothing else at this time (August of 2013) is more important on this planet. All nations with the ability and the resources of better handling this emergency situation must have full access at the Fukashima Nuclear Plant in Japan. From day one of the Tsunami - we have all witnessed the continuous ignorance and stupidity displayed to the world from this nuclear facility. It's like watching a monkey f#ck a football... Finally, the Electric Company of Japan has gotten past their ego's and ancient pride to acknowledged that highly radioactive water has been pouring out at a rate of 300 tons a day – not per year, not per month – per DAY from the crippled Fukushima nuclear plant. That means about 270,000 tons [270,000,000 liters] of contaminated water has flowed into the Pacific Ocean over nearly two-and-a-half years, and it’s not stopping! This stuff (isotopes) contaminates for thousands of years! At this current time, Fukushima is 80 to 100x’s more expansive and more intense – letting out about 100x more of the radiation of Chernobyl ever came close to. This video explains a bit of it, and now even in San Diego CA - there's serious concern.
Who really knows what other damage these buffoons in Japan have caused to marine life thus far? Look, I hate being the bearer of bad news, but we must act now by notifying your nearest legislative, judicial, and executive “employee,” or the Pacific Ocean could be the first major casualty of our planet. If nothing is done then it’s basically a domino effect of devastation of massive proportions after this. Please go to this petition demanding that all governments unite and intervene ASAP - using all available resources to fix, stop, and shut this fiasco down forever. However, There is hope – if we all act now! Groups like Beyond Nuclear are clearly bring real factual information to all our attention and mounting the charge against nuclear. However, hope isn't as promising as we'd like it to be with this " new article (8/13/2013).
Japan, Godzilla and most corporations are synonymous
I am not surprised on how Japan has hid this regional, if not global; issue of environmental concern from the world for this long! Capitalistic greed along with their manipulative power upon major media outlets gives those with that power the ability to suppress the truth from leaking this devastating and tragic news to the masses. Greed and maintaining high PROFIT MARGINS create real monstrous Godzilla’s across our world, if ran and managed by fiendish and deceptive individuals or backed by legislators, judiciaries, and executive public officials without ethical or moral foundations of empathy and respect for others, this planet, and all of its inhabitants... our world is doomed. So, if you think your votes make a difference - they most certainly do!
We all must demand that all governments across the globe to become involved with Japan and do whatever it takes on this planet to stop Fukashima from continuing. We also must stop all nuclear on this planet – don’t even get me started on off-shore drilling and Fracking/Shaling! Do you have any idea how clouds are made? Let's fast forward a few years... The spill is still not contained, and you start to notice that the hair on your head is starting to fall out, seriously. Yes, there are subtle and somewhat meaningless ways to protect yourself to a small extent, but this isn't the common cold - it's radiation poisoning.
Fracking/Shaling and Nuclear could and will easily kill us all, and should be stripped from Obama’s new “Environmental Action Plan!” Fracking and Nuclear can never ever be safe – duh! there are other ways... One of our greatest physicists explains here.
I mean really! Am I the only one that notices Godzilla in the room! Until we do something about this, have fun swimming in the Pacific and eating crab from the Bering Sea!
